Re: New rims

I have them in 17s

I really like them but am not 100% satisfied with the color of them. I actually prefer a standard silver instead of the hyper silver or black ice or whatever its called. But hey I got them and tires for pretty much nothing so I cant complain.

also I think I will like the rim color better when my car is blue instead of white.

There was a guy who used to frequent here that had a maroon Max with R6's on it -- they looked good. He sold his Max though. His screen name was JDywer### or something. The only caution with those rims is that they are very heavy.

Yes very heavy. I cant imagine what 18s are but my 17s with tires are 49 lbs.

Thats pretty heavy. But i am not going for speed. I am looking more for show. I was also looking at the ACE Manta's, but i cant find a legit dealer for them.

you could always use the helium spacers to lighten them up a bit.

ok ok I forget that not everyone knows about different kits and what they look like through research.

It is a Stillen kit and is one of the most common kits on the 3rd gen. I also think one of the most complementary of the factory body lines.

I got mine from an individual so you will have to do some searching to find a good place to get it if you want one.
