I ve been looking all over the place on the websites and it seems that they dont make upper strut tower for SE-DOHC ? They only made upper strut tower for SOHC also what does the y-pipe do with it ? Increase more horsepower ?

 

Strut Tower Brace -- use the 2000-2003 Maxima bar for the SE-DOHC (Engine model VE30DE) engine. As for the y-pipe, it increases horsepower by improving exhaust flow -- it has nothing to do with improving handling / suspension.

 

get the strut tower brace off of ebay. That is where I got mine for $14 bucks.

You got it for 20 bucks ? The upper strut bar from sohc will fit dohc , or will i have to get the 2000 to 2003 maxima ? Now I get it about the y pipe . Thanks for your info.

 

the SOHC will NOT fit the DOHC.....for the DOHC pick up the 2000-2003 bar

...and yes, that's about right for the FSTB. I just bought mine from ebay for $19 and it should be here sometime this week.

 

Courtesy used to sell a 89-99 FSTB and it does fit the VE just a tight fit that is all.
