Vehicle runs great no problems. Starts right up. New Shell synthetic just done with Bosch platnium sparks. A great car!

Poor guy!

walpole is like 10 minutes from me...i emailed him and will hopefully get to check it out. either way nice looking max...dunno bout the validity of the 1/4 claims. if he answers me and wants to meet up, i'll snap a pic of his slips and some more of his car if i can.

maybe the 10.6 was his 1/8th time and he's a bad driver?

Are we forgetting to factor in the altezzas, those take off at least a second or two off the old 1320.

I'm not a big fan of the APC racing seats, but the rest of the car looks pretty good!

Technically it would be possible to run a 10.6 if he could put down about 500hp with a 3000lb curb weight.

http://www.rx7turboturbo.com/robrobinette/et.htm

That assumes that he doesn't break traction at all. So accounting for traction loss, he'd need to be putting down about 550-600hp to the wheels. I'd sure like to see his beefed engine internals.

A brand new HKS DLI ignition that cost me 500 through Stillen. Fires a hotter spark

I'm not aware that Stillen makes any ignition products for the VQ engine.

Did anybody else notice that he said he's running underdrive pulleys, yet he has a S/C... From what i understand, they won't work if you swap in a S/C

even if he was typing real fast the zero is nowhere near the four ... so I think he's trying to pull a fast one

Furthermore...

10.6 is way to low to be considered legit...but 14.6 in a SC+NOS 5sp is stupid slow....

Something doesn't add up.

What size pulley is he running? The one picture of the engine bay shows a pretty big one, as far as I can tell. 400 hp with a stock pulley? I don't think so.

I'm guessing that the 400hp is with the nos alone.

I didn't think it was possible, I was mistaken. Still I think this car is from VA originally and a guy in Lynchburg had it. Anyone remember this car?

I asked for his timeslip. This is what he sent (had to cut off some 'compulink' crap from the bottom to get under the 50k limit). Did I read that right.. he lives in Mass but that timeslip is from Virginia??
