Does anyone know the largest wheel/tire size that will fit into the wheel well of the 5th gen max. I got a flat today and had the distinct pleasure of using the donut. What size can I put in the well so that the wheel will fit flush and the trunk is still useable. Please let me know. Chris

 

I put a 235/45/17 in mine. 8" wide BBS rim. Diameter fits --- but it does sit up at least a couple inches higher.

 

Yeah it'll fit up to about an 18 inch rim with a 40 profile tire on it. But you'll have it rise up. Even using a stock rim of 7 inches will rise up a little. But its really not that noticable. I had a stock 7 inch wide rim and it really didn't hinder anything in the trunk. Definitely came in handy when I needed. Much better than having the stupid donut.
