What are our wattage on our headlights

What are our wattage on our headlights

Anybody kno the wattage on the headlights? I wanna get in on the GD for lights...but not sure if they will blow my harness? please help!

so if I put in a 100/80watt bulb ill burn my harness?? How come the guy on the group deal said it would be fine

yes it will eventually...maybe not right away but it will. He said that so you would get them...why does any salesman/person wanting you to buy something say good things about the product.

A friend of mine has a Celica and he got some high wattage bulbs a while back. I told him it would burn up his harness and he said "the guy I got them from said I would be fine". a few months down the road he said his bulb is out. I told him to check the harness plug first...sure enough the plug was melted.

I replaced that plug for him and advised him to at least get an upgraded harness but it would be better to stick with stock wattage on a car like his that gets driven everyday and a lot at night.

you can use those high wattage bulbs like awsm66 said, but upgrade the harness first. but those xenon tends to be cop magnets...

same difference . bulb uses 65 watts on high, 45 on low.

Get the Sylvania Siverstars... same wattage as OE but very bright and no problem with melting harnesses...
