Test drove a VE 5 speed...

...WOW!

After having my VG for a year and a half, it was like night and day.
Twice as smooth and twice as powerful. After about 4000 rpms (?) and the VTC cam switches, that thing pulls like a bat out of hell.

I've been looking for old school Sentra SE-R's for a while now to no avail, so I figured what the hell, why not see what everyone was talking about and drive a VE. I must say I am very impressed and if one with lower miles than the one I drove comes along, I will defenitely scoop it up.

3rd gen bodystyle + 4th gen speed = BLISS!!!

BTW it was a pearl white 1994 with 130k miles, no VTC noise whatsoever, and mint interior. Probably could get it for less than $4k, but thats only 20k less miles than my old 89 SE had.

Oh, one more thing.

The VE was sooooooo quiet and smooth.

How come no one has ever mentioned this before?

Please correct that, it is a 3rd gen bodystyle with VE speed, the 4th gen has VE speed...remember, we came first.

Leave it to Donald to make that statement. But he's right as always.
