bring it back to the dealer and see if you can use that as a means to getting 3M clear bra put on for free. Doubt it, but it's worth a try.

The paint is pathetic isn't it. I doubt the dealer would pay for the clear bra.

Before it gets worse, go to www.xpel.com and buy the clear bra hood kit. Since putting the clear bra hood piece on my car I have had no more chips.

I had mine repainted at Superior autobody , and after about 15 k miles, very few if any paint chips... I guess Nissan couldn't find good paint ?

So you never take this stuff off? I guess that makes waxing any covered areas obsolete, huh? Because why would you need to wax it? If not, how do you wax it? Right over top of the laminate?

You got it billyman. You wax right over the top of the material.

Since my repaint on the hood and front fenders (I have clear bra on the front bumper since I got the car new) there have been no paint chips.

Kloogy was right..Nissan didn't find the right paint.

I use drugs to deal with the pain. Now I look at the paint chips, pop a couple pills and everything is all better.
