Finally did and all out wash and wax...pics inside!

Well yesterday I decided to do a full wash and wax. This is what I ended up doing:

1) First Meguiars Gold Class car wash
2) Meguiars Clay Bar w/ Quick Detailer
3) Second Meguiars Gold Class car wash
4) Meguiars #9 Swirl mark remover applyed w/ Porter Cable 7424
5) Meguiars #26 Yellow wax applyed w/ Porter Cable 7424
6) All wax removed w/ microfiber cloths.

Man let me tell you this thing shines like it just came off the showroom floor. The Porter Cable polisher was definitely well worth the money I paid for it and the clay bar did wonders with getting all those nasty bugs and contaminents off the paint. Here is a link to a couple pics of what the paint looks like after I was done. Let me know what you guys think.

Yeah...Lou has a bad case of the wheel gap.

Nice and shiny though. I'm hoping to take care of my car today or tomorrow.

Yeah yeah i know the gap is bad but right now its just not in the cards...i do want to drop it though but i dont want it to be too stiff. Living in NE and this being my daily driver really restricts my options. Any suggestions?

looks great, nice job!

NE has to be the toughest on our max's .. especially us poor suckers w/ the metallic colors and majestic blue ...

but hey, when they're clean they are the best looking cars around!

Yeah, the Meguairs is excellent, it makes the Majestic Blue really sparkle. I just rinsed her down and towl dried her, I'm taking a business trip tomorrow and want that deep blue to show nicely.

The NE is very hard on car finishes, especially the road salt.
