Was bored so I painted my VI cover

I also repainted my y-pipe flat engine black because Budget did a bang up job of it initially.

What kind of paint did you use for the VI Deezo? Looks great. And what about the Y-pipe? It can get over 1200 degrees down there, so I hope the paint was really high heat.

That color looks completely different depending on the lighting and angle... paint job on the cover looks great though.

Craig Mack: PaintScratch. It's definitely high heat. I used black engine paint on th pipe.

Jamsan: Yes. That's the color scheme under the hood.

I30tMikeD: Go for it!

spanishrice: Soon dude.

Kevincleff: Thanks.

Nismo: My trunk and hood is jacked from the winter so they'll be getting repainted soon too. Thanks for the props!

When Cheston saw my car in person he liked it too. Plus the color hides imperfection really well.

That would be difficult. The coating manufacturer would have to make a color.

Thanks for that site. It's giving me more ideas. The black chrome is off the hook.

I'll ask him tomorrow. But I can tell you it all depends on the labor involved. It's pretty cheap so long as he doesn't have to sandblast.

This is the color im going to get my new intake manifold coated in.
