which exhaust tip to fill in gap?

So knowing that I dont have much money for a new muffler I want to put on a new tip, Im sick of looking at the tip with the factory muffler which leaves a 1 inch gap when it extends out. So any ideas of which one to invest in that will fill in the space and be a quick swap. Also it would be a 2.5 inch outlet from the muffler correct? and how long should the tip be if I want it to sit flush with the bumper and not extend outwards? Thanks

With as much money as you are going to spend on getting a tip welded on, you may as well buy a muffler. They aren't that expensive. Look at products such as Magnaflow to give you a cheaper alternative.

You should first determine the cost difference between the muffler of your choice and the exhaust tip. This should also include any labor cost if you are not planning on doing it yourself. Decide then which is the way to go. In my case I did not want to replace the muffler, just the tip, so this was an easy decision for me. Tip, hardware and doing it myself turned out to cost around $40.00. Check my link to see how it turned out.

just go to autozone or discount/advance and get a tip. Picked mine up, a resonated one, gives the slightest tone difference (my friends noticed it and pointed it out to me) and is nice and shiny, only cost me 20bucks and installation took 10mins...
