Traction Bar or Sway bar

What's the differenses between a traction bar and sway bar???

Traction bars keep the drive wheels from hopping to enhance straight line traction.

"sway bars" should be called "anti sway bars" They keep the body from rolling in turns.

Would you happen to know where I could get some for a 1990 ford ranger. My friend wants me to find them for him and I can't.
