who has cracks in leather seat?

I read a thread here recently that mentioned a seat cover replaced in warranty because of cracks in leather. My driver side seat bottom has two small cracks on the side bolster. I only have 5k left on 3/36. Is this be a warranty repair?

That might have been me. I had the upper part of the drivers seat replaced under warranty. Then about a week ago I noticed cracks in the seat bottom. Took it back to the dealer (not even the one I bought it from) and they put it on order from Japan (AE seatss are not stock items) and will replace it under warranty as well (FYI...I had 35,877 miles on it when I took it in...they did all the order paperwork so even if the part shows up after the magic 36K mark, it will still be covered).

A significant "crease" appeared just to the left of center seam in the driver's seat of my 2001 AE. Are you guys talking about cracks where the leather actually separates, or minor surface type stuff? Trying to determine if I can have my local Nissan dealership replace.....because it bugs the hell out of me every time I see it. I mean, I use leather cleaner/conditioner at least a couple of times a year and my car is always in a garage or parking structure, so it's not neglect or harsh elements kind of damage.

These have been actual cracks in the material.
