Has anyone done or know someone who has transplanted the vq35de into a fourth gen and if so how well does it fit are the mounting points the same and are the trannys compatible etc. Any info willbe greatly appreciated.

I volunteer as 1st guinea pig if anyone wants to give me parts and labor!

 

I put one in my 3-gen but took it out because of the legal contract issues w/ a well known shop I'm work with............

 

I've done it. All you need is the motor/tranny and modify the wire harness.

 

I put one in the garage that my 4th gen parks in, its only ~3ft from the car, am I the closest to this mod?

 

or why not save up for a 5th gen like im doing now
