Gauge bezel chrome trim rings
Gauge bezel chrome trim rings
Its been awhile since I have seen a thread about this- so I will bring it up again.
Where do you get these??
I bought the whole gauge chrome bezel piece, and now I either stare at myself or get blinded with the sun at my back.
So it's got to go- but the rings look good too.
So where/how much?
Thanks

I got a set of gunmetal (although he has them in chrome) rings from PHSInvent. I installed mine last week and they fit great. Here's his email:

Really easy to deal with and very quick shipping.

How did you attach your gauge rings? Mine came with rolled up sticky putty around inside beveled edge, and I had a heck of a time making a clean install. I had to get different putty. Took hours to get perfect.
The gauges look much better than stock, and add just the right sporty look to the interior.
People think the car came stock with them.
Maybe I'll start telling people who notice my Max is a special edition, honoring the designer of the Maxima, an Asian engineer/artist who wore big chrome rimmed glasses because he was an Elton John fan, and only 810 1997 Maxima SE's came with chrome gauge rings, because the 1st generation was a Datsun 810. HAH!
I bet there are actually a lot less than 810 cars with the aftermarket chrome rings.
