Fuel Return Line Repair

There was some talk in one of the many "Gas Mileage" threads, and I know some people had the fuel leak in their return line. I've been having this problem for a while now and I am sick of getting .5 miles per gallon or being able to fill up without leaking a gallon onto the ground. For those who have fixed this, what steps should I take to repair it and what should I look for? I just want to make sure I covered everything before I start messing with fuel lines. Thanks!
