Has anyone tried to put the AGX (cattman) and tein springs on? Will the springs fit onto the rear struts? I have read earlier that the rear 4th gen strut purch is smaller that the 5th gen.

Also does anyone have pics of a 2k2 with stock 17s on tein springs?

I dont think any1 has tried AGX with Teins yet. I have the Teins on Toks but the AGX/Tein would be a nice combo.

I would get the Tein/AGX just becuase i would like to have the adjustability of the AGXs. I ihave the Tein/GR2s and they are a great combo as well. NEver buy tocrapos

 

i dont think the teins will fi on the rear agx's perch. My stock springs,maxspeed and H&Rs didnt fit on it. You need 4th gens springs and that what I need to do.

My H&R's are half way on the rear strut as of now..

 

The setup I currently have is Tein/Tokico The Toks are not as bad as others would lead you to belive, I dont have anything bad to say abou them, I might be able to comment on the diff if I switched over to GR-2 or AGX. The GR-2 I have not tried but im thinking of switching over to soon and selling the toks. The only reason I dont want to go for the AGX is you have to throw in 4th gen mounts and the fit isnt 100% pefect and some noise might result at the end. I have had this problem with asu174's car when he had the agx's but I dont know if it was due to the AGX sturts of install error (dont by some1 else prior to me, I dont make mistakes ) that was causing the clunking. In any case Im gonna try the GR-2's next but if you have the cash for it go with the JIC FLT-A2. Its gonna run nearly $1800 fot the jic so the gr2 is more reasonable.

 

killer2002SE you do have a point. I have not messed with the modded AGX's for a while now so I 4got they require 4th gen springs. Looks like the lowest setup on AGX's you can go is sprint.

 

sprint or progress...Andy had progress and they were pretty low.

You can go for ground control coilovers...

I'd agree, the Progress are low and level and fit perfect with the AGX, hence Cattman selling them that way. I have Maxspeeds with AGX and I rode on some GR2s and I wasn't impressed. Not really firm enough when you want them to be. Soft in the corners compared to mine. On 1/2 Mine feel a lot like GR2s, but on 3/6 I can tear a corner apart.

 

I have progress and it is not dropped level. That is why I want to go with the Teins!
