Beat 2002 Monte Carlo SS
Beat 2002 Monte Carlo SS
Pretty sure it's not a big deal. Took my stock 98 GLE, bad launch and still took it by a car length against a Monte Carlo SS. It's a much larger car then the Maxima or at least it appears that way. Spec's say it's got 200 HP and 225 ft Lbs of torque. If the race would have extended I'm sure I would have been further ahead as I was just beginning to pull away.

Nope... well OK a K&N Air Filter, but that is all... My engine had only 115,000 KMS's on it. In my quest for better gas mileage (Ya I know shouldn't be racing) I had just changed the Oil and Filter ( Mobil 1 ), new NGK Plats, gas filter and new front left O2 sensor. I also cleaned the throttle body. The car runs really nice.
I had a fair bit of wheel spin at launch because of the air preasures I'm running with. I really noticed that the SS was quite loud. couldn't really hear my engine over his until I got out in front.
