I've got Fidanza/Exedy in my VE 5spd and although I just got it back on the road today I can tell you the Exedy's pedal is light as a feather but it grabs quick and hard.
It almost throws you off-guard...with the pedal being so soft I didnt expect that kind of engagement and almost killed it a couple times. lol
James,
ok. cool. i did not think there was a problem, but i have not done this before. anyway, which model of Exedy did you go with? i know that 'dual plate' designs are pretty much for racing applications and may be impractical/harsh? furthermore, i am leaning to the 6-puck disc design.
i am pleased to hear about your experience. it appears that the exedy setup puts more horsepower to the ground. also, is the difference in lighter flywheel mass readily noticeable? is the powerband in your face quicker?
