can anyone help with what needs to be done to install the AE automatic shift ****. the things i have found no pics or detailed information on what exactly needs to be done. i have a 2000 maxima and would like to know what is needed to be done to the existing parts. any help would be great. thanks

Do you already have the ****? If you do, it should be extremely straight foward.

Remove screws, cut O/D wiring, pull up on ****, install new **** and splice O/D wiring.

 

i should be getting one shortly and i did a search and members were talking about modifying the factory plastic and cannot go back to the original t-shaped version after so i was curious as to the modification. i guess i will figure it out when i receive it. thanks for the reply.
