95-96 fogs max wattage yellow fogs

stock h3 bulbs are at 55w.. can we safely go any higher.i found some Hella "yellow stars" fogs for cheap.. i wanna try them out.but they only come in an 85w. is there a wiring harness kit for fogs like there is for the headlight?..any possibility of safelty running the 85w on the stock setup. thanks

85w bulbs might crack the lens of the fog ligt, friend got his crack with a piaa 85w superwhite. hope that helps
if you want a real yellow fog, got to a motocycle shop and ask them for h3 condoms, they go over the bulb and make a is300 yellow. if that is your desire effect.

Hella's = Bad!. I got these bulbs from candlepower on suvlights.com, and they're not bad. One question, is there a place online that sells h3 condoms? Thanks. Also, if you got super white H3s and put an h3 condom, would it make it nice bright yellow, thanks

I ordered XD5's from the GD, will those crack my lights? I'm about to order a new set of foglights from JR Nissan. Will the bulbs crack my lights? Any harness I can get for the foglights? I think theyre 85w power.

Hella Yellowstars = BAD! They changed where they were manufactured from Germany to Korea and they are no longer yellow and I blew one bulb out in a week. If you still want them I have like 6 pairs I can sell you.

PIAA Ion Crystal = Ricey. Change colors as car goes by. Some angles give a blue twinge and they never look really yellow. HUGE waste of money.

Candlepowers = See above...I haven't tried them yet.

Narva Yellow 85W H3's = Good. Nice and yellow. No probs so far.

Any 85W bulb is going to make your fogs HOT. So hot, in fact, that if you hit a good sized puddle after they've been on for awhile you WILL crack the lens. You can avoid this if you're careful but if you go 85W just be prepared to order a new fog kit (160 bucks for TWO fogs and a bunch of other stuff = good deal) from http://www.garrands-nissan.com/Garrands/home.htm .

Good luck!

H3 condoms Huh!!! This is the first time I am hearing this term so it sounds kinda funny.
Is that the official name or is it called somthing else? I don't want to embarrass myself in a bike shop if that not the real name.
