How to replace the accessory drivebelt

My car is at the dealership. One of the things they noticed is the drivebelt needs to be replaced. They want $150.

I can get the two belts from Napa for $30 - how difficult is this to do myself?

Its easy. Just like doing an UDP install without the UDP.

Jack the car up, remove the passenger wheel and the black plastic shield behind it. Look under the hood and loosen the nut/bolt on the tensioner pulley. Then turn the tensioner nut to get the belt as loose as possible. Remove belt, put new one in. Do the previous things in reverse now.

Congrats, you just saved $120. Now buy an UDP with that $120 and install it while you're in there.

The engine mount is in the way but with a little work you can get around it. the dealer will always remove a prt if it is in the way and charge more for the work.
