Install problem -- Belt Size for 3.00" & V1?

Arrggh. Looks like I forgot to lookup something before the install, and the fit of the current one on there is looking to be a half inch off. Anyone got a part number for the correct belt?

what's the part no. of the belt that you are using now?
the last three number on there is the length of the belt in inches.

xxxx703 = 70.3 inchees.
xxxx710 = 71 inches.

K060703 should be the right one.....(gates part no.)

Nope...

it is 695 length... 6 rib 695 length, have your parts place cross reference the length.

Try to get a gatorback belt...

690 could work I am sure. I just did a new belt on my 3" this weekend and used the 695... I know MardiGras uses the 685 for his 2.62

Quick question: Does the blower mounting plate have to be ground down for fittment of a 3.125" pulley on a V1?

Nope... not at all.. I don't think it's an issue until the 2.87 or 2.62... I'll find out about the 2.87 soon enough
