Before anyone else starts blasting about their pullies
Before anyone else starts blasting about their pullies
if you bought an alum pulley from me PLEASE PLEASE look at the bearing and verify that the bearing is not going. good way to test is take the belt off the pulley and see if there's any play in the pulley. verify the retainer clip is still on there and intact. if the bearing shows ANY sign of wear replace the bearing ASAP. if you do replace the bearing please use high quality bearing. SKF and NTN bearings are decent names. do not use any cheap bearings because they tend to live a short life and die early. also do not attempt to oil the bearings since they are sealed bearings. there are rubber seals that keeps the grease in. if that's missing from the bearing then do not continue to use it.
please pay attention to belt positioning and tension. a metal pulley is not the cure all for improper install...it will tolerate some misalignment and incorrect install more than plastic pulley.
there's been talk about the lexus tensioner pulley...keep in mind it's slightly bigger and i believe you need to mod the SC plate to accomidate the bigger pulley.
if i knew that i could've made a pulley bigger then i could've made one that will last longer. bigger pulley = more material to cool down with (heat sink)...but the pulleys are made exactly like the plastic ones from stillen for a ez install.

o dont get me wrong im not trashing u or your pulleys.
it warped minor, and the bearing is broken 100 %
crap rattled so hard i thought it was my blower @ first.
the pulley fits in just fine, jeff makes some minor adjustments to make it run perfect.
so far there are 3 people that i know of runnin this pulley with no problems.
Myself - GoldenGlory
Danny - Pcguru2k
and Jeff - Maximus75 - Aka Maximum Tuning
this pulley has increased my idle, smoother . yet therefore with yours my car stalled and idle dropped real low cause of the bearing going going going gone. the thing wobbled, like a turkey tring to run away from being on a dish.
Jeff did all the work on my car, and he will back up any to all problems.
and he has spoke to you about this pulley yet in the past.
so like i said to jay25, i rather spend the $ and buy a new pulley , instead of waiting till the pulley just snapped off, tore the belt and then have to tow the ride in ..and go thru hell.

if the bearing was fine your idle would be fine also...do not blame your idle problem with my pulley.
i asked for pics and to this date nothing. i can't defend a product with it's hollow claims. yes it failed..but how?
Jeff spoke to me very briefly about him running a lexus pulley but with a few minor adjustments needed...he mentioned that he needed to shave a little off the plate to clear it since the pulley is slightly larger. that's about the extent to that. why didn't he market the pulley to more people if it's been a hot item? why were people asking and complaining about someone to come out and make a metal pulley? where was he? i stick my neck out and do the R&D and lay out the work and $ to make it. what happens? only a handful bought it (thanks to those who did bought it). it was also the reason why i totally stopped making them.
the lexus pulley is great..but guess what? it's probably a NTN made in Japan bearing around a metal pulley..IT WILL EVENTUALLY FAIL...just like the one that was on your car. are you going to complain to lexus that they made a bad pulley?

You dont need a bracket for the fuse box, thats a very easy fix, drill the two small holes the you will need a bolt with two washers and a nut and tigten it right up.
