UPS doesn't give an estimated date for arrival?
UPS doesn't give an estimated date for arrival?
so yeah, i'm sure they used to do that...
i'm tracking my Exedy clutch and it's in richmond, CA so maybe 1 or 2 more days before it gets to my house... but how come they don't gimme a date to expect it?
edit: sorry, i thought i posted this in off-topic... please move if this is not appropriate for this forum. thanks

They should have an estimated arrival time, I always get one when I look up a tracking number. But if they just shipped the item there might not be one for a day or two. Also UPS likes to take their sweet *** time and keep items in richmond for like 1-2 days extra
atleast from my own experiences.

Hey FYI if the sender of a UPS package uses the paper method to ship a package (ie goes to staples and fills out a slip) the estimated shipping date will not be displayed. On the other hand if the package is electronically entered into the UPS system you will be able to track it. I just found this out from the guy from UPS yesterday. I'm waiting for my Injen from CA too!

Yup... I work there, and have found that to be the case also. I'l have to pull up tracking info on some of the packages that go through, and all of the ones with hand written tracking slips or non-UPS-computer generated forms will not have an estimate delivery date. you'll also note the ones that have been computer entered will have city and state and possibly delivery address listed before it ever gets there. if it doesn't have that in the system, then it can't estimate delivery time.
Currently, they're working on upgrading all of the computers at places like Staples to make sure all of this info is in the system. that of course takes thousands of computers and millions of dollars, so it's a slow process.
