Could someone post the FCC ID and Part No. that's listed on the back of their Nissan keyless entry remote? I lost mine and bought used (to save some $), but I can't get it to program. I think it might be for a 2000 or less Maxima. Also, does anyone know how to program the 2001 remote? I think the instructions I have are for the <2000 models as well.

The FCC ID on the back of mine is, KBRASTU10. My car is a 2001 SE as well. I had one original and I bought three remotes off of e-bay as a package deal and two out of three worked fine. The only difference in the extra two remotes that worked was that one remote had a button for the trunk just like the original, but the other didn't. I reprogramed the car and all three worked. I also got a third remote in the e-bay deal, they looked identical with the exception of the color of the lock and unlock buttons. They were grey instead of the blue. And that FCC ID was KBRASTU09. That one does not work with my 2K1 at all.

 

It seems there are two identical looking remotes with different FCC-ID's: FCC ID: KBRASTU10 (which is probably the correct one) and FCC ID: NHVWBU43 (of which I have two and can get neither to work). So either the KBRA is correct for the 2001, or maybe my programming instructions aren't correct. Can anybody verify that they have a NHV remote that works with a 2001 SE?

 

Lock the doors. Key in/out > 6 times. Does this sound right?
