anyone ever measure the temperature of your a/c'ed air as it exits the dashboard ducting? Seems to me that the industry std for a healthy system is 40°F below ambient temp. My new '03 SE puts air out at ~48°F. My old Audi (using older freon system) usually ran about 40°.

 

With R134a, you'll be lucky if you get below 45 degrees. The older refrigerant would get several degrees colder.
