WOW! I can't believe no one is having it out over this one....Everyone at lunch?!?

I like my Injen. I think it's a little more "showy" not to mention expensive. Sounds stock when cruising and has nice growl when WOT. Not sure which makes more power, but I pulled on my buddy's 2k2 with same mods and a Frankencar intake.

Yo say the stillen give you more power but i thought that cold air intake adds up to 12 hp the stillen intake adds about 5 to 6.

I would not rely on what the manufacturer's publish for HP gains.

Why you bragging? I just think it was your timing advance. Yeah that is it. I do think the injen intake is a good one. It won me over that day. I am the buddy that got pulled

True, remember K&N claims a 2-4% increase in HP just by putting their filter in your stock box!

Boy the Injen would have a hard time in Vegas. With 100+ degree temps and the Injen filter location behind the radiator blowing hot @ss air on it, I would have a stock airbox before both intakes during our summer months.

Yes my Franken is off for the summer.

Mine isn't behind the radiator, it's beside it. Fans don't blow on it at all.

Do you feel it gets any cooler air than the Stillen behind the battery?

The Injen works fine, don't know about Stillen's. Theres a nice growl at higher rpms, although its not too loud. Suggestion, if you do get the Injen intake the plastic undercarriage protector might restrict some of the cold air from beneath... cut a hole or just unscrew the whole thing. Oh and www.Adventon.com sells it for the cheapest i've found. Around $210 minus shipping costs.

I had the stillen a while back and it was ok. Nice sound and it looked ugly. I have the injen now. To me. the car pulls harder and sounds a lot louder. The injen whistles at low rpm which sounds cool. Injen is way better...

Isn't it widely well known that the GAB is the best there is and free to boot? At least that's what I've been hearing for weeks and it doesn't look bad either, almost stock. Very few people would know any different

The injen is right behind the radiator and right next to the exhaust manifol.

Stillen is behind the battery and you can use the stock scoop to get nice colder air than what the ingen gets.

You choose. I got a Stillen intake and happy with it.

Injen is to the right of the radiator, not behind, it sits differently on the 5th gen's than the 4th gens

I had the Injen on my car - didn't really seem to do all that much except for make a loud sound. It actually seemed to hurt my top end so I took it off. I figure there's no point in just doing an intake if I'm not planning to do any other engine mods.

I would think so under normal conditions. But if the pavement is hot as hell I don't think it would do you much good, as it sucks air right off the ground. Prolly still cooler than behind the battery though.

Most likely you can expect more high RPM peak gains from the Stillen since it's a short ram, with maybe a little loss on the low end. The Injen should give you more low and mid peak gains. It's preference really. Injen will be quieter than Stillen. Not sure if the difference in performance would be noticable. I'd say if you want loud, get Stillen.
