Leaking sub?

In a fiberglass enclosure, how can you tell if it's leaking? Someone told me that if I used some baby powder, it'll blow it out of the hole. Also, how would I fix it? Silicone, right?

I know when I had a leak in my last enclosure it sounded like something was rattling when it was playing and output was kinda poor. I tried sealing it wit a mixture of bondo and fiberglass resin. It worked for about three weeks, then it cracked pretty bad.

You can find the leaks by pushing in on the cone and listening for air.

i dont think that pushing the cone is a good idea fill the box with water and check for leaks of course if you have enough sun to dry it back up i just seal the whole box with silicone . just a little bit of water.... it worked for me

How would I seal the whole box? Is there such thing as a silicone spray that would suit this purpose? I figured I would use the silicone gel stuff to go over all the seams, but if there's a spray that I can use all the way around, that seems like a more better solution.

I look for air leaks by pushing on the cone. I wouldn't think of putting water in my box...but then again, its not fiberglass either. If I had a fiberglass box with an air leak, I would put more resin on it. Oh yeah, How did you get a leak in a fiberglass box? Just never heard of that before.
