her car really needed a new starter. that was replaced and now the starter motor seems stronger than mine. problem is, the car still exhibits the same hard starting it used to. it's hard to get the car to start without giving it a little gas when cranking the motor. has anyone ever gotten this problem fixed? is it a fuel starvation problem? it just seems like the fuel rail isn't building pressure at startup when the engine has been allowed to sit for a long time. please provide insight to what went wrong in your maxima when a repair was successfully performed.

 

What is the condition ofthe battery? Maybe the car needs a tuneup.
