Place Racing Intake....Bad.....Good?

Place Racing Intake....Bad.....Good?

just curious to whether or not the place racing cold air intake on custom maxima is worth a flip.....all i know is the stock one needs replacing bad....to much restriction on such a beautiful engine....need suggestions...Thanks

IMO, place racing is the only cold air intake available in the market. Injen draws air behind the radiator....not a good source of cold air.


the only downside is that you have to open a hole on your frame for the filter.

Yeah you'll need like a 3" whole just about. maybe 3.25".. But it does draw cold air and you'll feel your low and mid range go up. It's a good mod

you are not drilling a hole in the sidewall, You are drilling it right behind the battery plate / Almost under battery... If you take the intake out, any normal non maxima person wouldn't know there was a hole there unless you went looking for it.

gives the car an awesome sound too
