HELP! My 2 passenger side doors on my 97 maxima won't open or close without the use of power. You literally have to shove it closed as opposed to the 2 drivers side doors that close with ease. I tried greasing them up, but that didn't work. What do I have to do to get the doors to close? Do I have to take off the door panels and realign the rod or something? Thanks!

 

On my old Honda there was a plastic tab on the latch. It broke off and the door simply would not close. It was a .50 cent piece and I have no idea that it made such an impact on the latch.

Look at the other latches on your car that work correctly. See if there's anything on them, that isn't on your driver door latch. That door usually get the most use so it wares down quicker.
