I just recently did my emission testing and came thru with very good readings. For those with y-pipe and CAI there should be nothing to worry about, these readings are for Cali residents. I also have crapy MPG and I've done everything possible to improve the mileage, guess I just have to except what this 8yr old car gives my for MPG

Max allowable HC(ppm) 130
Max allowable CO% 1.00

My HC readings at idle= 2ppm
My CO readings at idle= 0.02%

My HC readings at 2500rpm= 8ppm
My CO readings at 2500rpm= 0.01%

Now Cali seems to have the most strict emission testing thru out the states so I'm curious to know what the other states allow, especially in Fla since I'm planning on moving there.

In oklahoma, they don't care if it's spitting out thick, purple smoke-- just as long as you have headlights, wipers, brakes, blinkers, and a horn.
