when does this GD end?

 

Is it the OEM style only? There are 4 styles at the VIS website but I'm not certain what they have for 5th Gen Max.

Okay...It seems people want so much for nothing. These hoods are at a great price even if shipping is not included. It's hard for me to believe that you can get a VIS carbon fiber hood for these prices. If you live near VIS and want to pick it up than I can understand why you want to pick it up. Shipping will be lowered $50 if you can pick it up. But I don't think that you can pick it up..I have to check with VIS about that. If you can not pick it up than the price is the same.

 

You can get them at Group Buy Center for as low as $450 shipped, if I recall correctly...

 

Well, if you can get it cheaper than go with that group deal. Guys you ask for products but complain about every penny. I understand that everyone wants a great deal. I want the same thing, but I am ordering prices that are very competitive across the board. If you guys don't want to participate in GDs please stop complaining about every penny of a GD that you may not join in. ...LOL :-P

Yes these are for the 5th gen. The fit is good. VIS is a reputable company. I have seen some improper fitment, due to many reasons such as proping the hood open wrong, the hood is wrap, or just a bad hood. But overall the fitment is good. You can purchase hood pins to reinforce the fitment.

 

ebay has the hood for 350 brand new.. right now

 

I would not trust anything like this from e-bay, i bought a body kit on eba y and when it came to me the bumper was cracked, I contaced the seller and he claims he sold me a perfect kit. Luckly it was insured but when I contaced them they only gave me 1/3 the price I paid. If you buy this carbon fiber hood on e-bay All I gotz to say is spend the extra 100 bucks and get something that has a good reputation. Don't get f ucked in da a$$

You didn't ruin the thread for me. If you guys can find it cheaper than do so. I have no problem with that. But I think I have proven I have very competitive price for GD on this forum. It's always someone that wants something for nothing, I have come to expect that. But if someone respectable has the same product for a lower price I will lead you to them. I only give the forum what they ask for. It's up to them to pay for it and not just nick-pick at everything. LOL......

If you are picking up the hood the price will drop $50. But payment must me made before authorization is given. There also needs to be the required number of people for you to get the GD price for pickup.

is this groupdeal still going on? it's been a couple of weeks with no new posts. phoenix, i too have seen the hoods they have on e-bay and they do claim they are vis. however, i've called both companies, and both have said that they don't even have them in stock. hmmm.......well, i would take one with the price for pick-up. i too am in southern california. however, i don't want to wait months for this. do we have to have all people to get this price? i know you said you were runnin' this deal until about the middle of june....let me know. thanks!
