Control arm bushing replacement

For those that have done this, (or at least removed the arms from the car and sent them to Matt :-p) did you have any trouble getting them off the car? I cant get the front bushing loose. I have a puller on there, and I am pulling the control arm against the bolt going through the front bushing. The arm is moving, but only the rubber is stretching- the inside metal sleeve is staying put. I have stretched the rubber about 1/4".

Should I just keep pulling, hoping it will come off? I dont want to tear the rubber and have that inner sleeve still stuck there. Then I would really be in trouble. Any comments/suggestions are welcome.
