Going to pick up my "new" 2k3 max tomorrow

Local dealer went down to 24k on the 2002 6 spd maxima (new) but by that time I had already accepted an offer for a 2k3 automatic silver w/black leather, titanium package, etc.

Dealer with the 2k3 gave me 3.9% apr.

Dealer with the 2k2 said best he could do was 8.8 for 72 months or 7.4 for 60 months.

2k3 has more value, more insurance value, nice color scheme, and is very nice.

2k2 had the coveted 6 speed manual but the lowest he would go was 24,380 on the car and after I told him I verbally accepted the other offer he took the 380 off after he said the other price was the lowest he could go.. its a pearl white with tan interior, a real gem, but the apr he gave me was not nearly as good and he made his final deal a step or two too late. If something happens while buying the 2k3 I have something to fall back on.

What offer did you accept for the 03?

The guy with the 6 speed is full of it. He has to come off that in order to sell it. It's not worth what the 2003 is...

Didn't your auto blow up from the SC?

Good job - buying the 2k2 at that price would have been insane. As soon as you turned the key and drove off the lot, it would have been worth about $18k...at least your 2k3 is (like mine) worth about $20k

I probably paid too much. 25,230, but I am happy with what I got. It was one of 2 final cars. This one is not loaded, missing the meridian package and traction control and nav package.

I don't know how much haggling you did, but you probably could've gotten it for around $23K, being that it didn't have the meridian or TCS. But still, what you were offered for the 02, 6-speed or not, it came out with the 03 being the better deal.

Congratulations!

no, plus tax.

They werent in a haggling mood.

On a side note, I could have picked up a 4-5k mile 2003 SE black on black same options for 24,000.

Hey man, enjoy the ride. You'll think nothing of the price once you do.
