I used the power wires for the clock for my new headunit because I couldn't figure out which wires did what in the bose wiring and I cut the connector off the clock to short to reattach the wiring when I was finished. Not sure if there is more than one kind of clock, but just to be sure, mine has the digital clock that sits uptop between the hazard and rear defrost buttons. thanks you
