Anyone know how much the 2002-2003 GLE and SE wheels weigh?

I belive it's ~52lbs (including the tire).

 

the stock SE's are about 25lbs each....the GLE>...don't know...gotta ask GLE drivers...

 

I wieghed my 2k1 17" wheels and they wieghed around 40lbs... I didnt thinkt he 2k2 would that much more...

 

52 lbs. for me too....weighed them when Maxspeeds were installed.

 

Wow, 52 pounds including the tire!! That seems heavy.
Even if the SE's were 25 pounds just for the wheel, that also seems a bit heavy.
There are aftermarket NICE looking 17 inch wheels that weigh 18-19 pounds and don't cost that much.
Losing 7 pounds of unsprung weight from each tire would surely make a noticeable difference in performance.

Hey, noticed that the Sentra SE-R Spec V's 17 inch wheels weigh 24 pounds EACH!! Wow, why would Nissan put such heavy wheels on that car? It's performance is a bit of a disappointment as it is, considering the car's weight, 6 speed tranny, and claimed hp. It could do so much better with wheels that actually weren't like turning boulders!
