I want to get that new Aiwa MP3 player, a DIN sized in dash player, but it is one of those 'sleeve' types and supposedly does not have holes on the sides to screw into, meaning it will not easily fit into the the DIN slot on the Maxima..

Anyone here have a experience with this type of head unit? How easy/hard is it to get a good clean and flush fit on one of these?

Thanks

I don't have experience with this particular factory radio, but try some place like Best Buy or Circuit City. They may sell a kit (Metra is the manufacturer) that will fit a DIN chassis into the factory opening using the existing mount points. I have a 2000 Accord with a double DIN opening, and the Metra kit I found sets my Alpine unit flush with the dash opening. Nothing ruins a clean stereo install like the faceplate sticking out of the dash! LOL
