Im getting a tint job done on my car on wed and i wanted to post 2 questions. First off the place im gettin it at is the only place near me that does the side windows all the way to the top with no cut off?--Is that ok? Because a lot of the places said they stop the tint a distance before the window ends. Also they are going to do the rear winsheild in 2 pieces and he said u wont tell bc they do it on a defroster line.---Is that ok is it gunna look bad? Thanks for the info guys.

mine are all the way down the door panel was taken off and the whole glass is tinted all the way up and down and my back has four pices if they do it on the defrost line it will be OK...

here is a photoshopped pic of my car shaved, slammed and with my soon to be new rims but the tint is 35% and it is real.....

the reason not to tint the sides all the way up on our cars is bc the door has a frame around the window. This causes the window to enter into the door sill at the top and creates a rubbing effect on the tint between the sill and the glass. in the long run, this may not be the best setup bc the tint may begin to peel. i've heard of techniques used to combat this problem using adhesives of some type (even clear nail posish)and they may work. IMO there should be at least a slight gap, say 1/4", to insure that the edge of the film is completely set. It may be that the shop that you've found has a technique to deal with this issue. You may want to question them specifically just to be on the safe side.

The two piece back will be fine if they are good installers. I just got a one piece rear window installed in my car; previously had a two piece and my rear glass got busted (halloween prank)
