Shift **** Replacement

Fellow Maxers.............i have a 2000 SE.......please tell me how to take my SHIFT **** OFF!!...........does it twist? pull up? i can't do either!!........

It just twists off.. The first time its gonna be really tight. Just grip it and turn counter-clockwise. It'll eventually start turning and loosen off.

yeah but i REALLY can't get it to turn.........i've had all my friends try and turn it as well.........but it's good to know that it twists off......thanks......i'll give it a try tomorrow

Just wrap a towel around the **** and get a big wrench and twist it off
