before i added my midpipe to my K&N filter i had a low sucking sound coming from the intake. but after i added the midpipe the noise got so loud that at idle i can hear it inside the car with the radio off. i dont believe any hoses are loose. is this normal?

any info would be appreciated.

 

Yeah, the midpipe usually makes things a bit louder.

 

Yeap.. That stock airbox was restrictive.. Now it's free flow

well i thought something was wrong since the noise got twice as loud.

 

hehe, well the stock intake pipe did have a resonator so now its louder since its all straight pipe

A loud sucking noise coming from the intake is a good sign.
