I have a 97 SE 5-spd... does anyone know the stock fuel cut off RPM for my car? I was driving the other day and I hit around 7.2k... I don't know if the person who owned the car before me re-programmed it or anything, is there any way to tell? Anyone know why it might do this? Thanks

 

There's an ECU out there for 95-96 Maxima's with 7.2k rev limiter, but I don't know what type of ECU you have to get 7.2k on a 97SE. If you ever find out what it is that's giving you 7.2k, please update us. Those with MEVI will really thank you.

 

Well, I dunno, is there any ECU mod that allows you to reach 7.5k RPM's? Cuz it might've gone maybe a little closer to there... heh... anyway, I'll try to find out what it is, any help or thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks.
