Do you like the Titanium edition wheels?

I actually prefer the non-titanium wheel and interior except for the stainless sill plates. Are they available for end-user upgrade? I'd like to add them. I am not sure what AE sill plates are.

My favorite Max colors are sheer silver and glacier--both make the titanium wheel look dreary to my eye. The non-titanium wheel color looks cleaner and brighter to me. Gray Lustre may look good with the titanium wheel. I guess the dark color of the Ti wheel hides brake dust.

i like the regular wheels better also.

yes you can purchase the still plates. AE sill plates are Anniversary Edition sills from a 2001 AE maxima. those also can be purchased and added to a non-AE or a non-TE maxima. they might even be the same thing because nissan likes to do that.

call David Burnette at Town North Nissan if you want to buy them. his maxima.org member name is "DAVEB"(*not "Dave B"*). look for his number in the FAQ.

I have the TE wheels and like the contrast it creates on my Majestic Blue Max. TE wheels have that gunmetal look to me. I have received a number of compliments, one being "sweet."

01 AE sill plates = 03 TE SS sill plates

I think the TE wheels look much better than the regular silver. They have more shine and have a nice balance of being dark, but not looking like steelies. They do look much better on darker colors though.

I have the TE wheels as well and wouldn't have bought the car without them. I have the Sheer Silver and that's the first thing people mention is the wheels.

Alrighty then... I will agree that the stock SE wheel--whether silver or Ti--is not abad choice. I must say that I appreciate the simple design both in terms of aesthetics as well as their ease of cleaning.

I had a hard time choosing between glacier pearl and sheer silver. I defineitely prefer the std SE wheel over Ti with glacier paint.

I have a 03 Sheer Silver SE with the Titanium package. The main reason I wanted the package was for the wheels. When the car is clean, which is most of the time, the wheels look much better than plain silver wheels. However, I just got 18x8 Moda R6s and the finish on those wheels is polished a bit more, which looks even better.

I love them...

I've got a 2003 SE TE (Polished Titanium) and the wheels were one of the major reasons I got the TE package. One of the first days that I had the car, I was parked in a lot next to a Max with regular wheels and you could really see how much better mine looked. They compliment the paint job very well.

I actually had 2 separate instances where people were leaning out their windows looking at my front rim while sitting at a traffic light. I think they liked them, but it could have been because of the truck-like wheel gap

The only think I don't like about my rims is the weight and they are not 18"s!

I love my TE with the Titanium paint and wheels. My local car club has warned me that I should put locks on em before they take em (mostly 4th gen owners.) lol

I have the 2003 SS/TE package and absolutely love the rims also. Thats the main reason I got the car--it looked so much better than the other 2k3 on the lot, a red one with normal rims.

They do get dirty easily though with brake dust. I need to zaino my car sometime soon and polish the rims.

Nope, no locks on mine. I think some dealers added them to prevent theft, but not mine.
