I have a 95 and went to bring down the right rear window the other day,and the mechanism broke free from the window.The window slumped down and i had to wedge it up in the meantime.
I guess my question is what am I in for to fix this?Is this an isolated incident or a common problem?

na i had the same prob with my 96 and i hade to replace the whole window mechanism it cost me about 70.dollars but not hard

 

my passenger side motor assem. came unscrewed one time. i just had to take the door apart and tighten it back down. funny how it is the passenger side and not the driver side... dumb b@stards that insist on slamming my doors.
