1992 Maxima, Auto, Vg30e

when the door is open and i press the lock button, the car locks then unlocks, and then if i close the door, the car locks and unlocks. The keypad will not lock the car, it just beeps when i press it, however it works for unlocking, and i am using the numbers on the lock key so i doubt the keypad button is bad. Anyone ever seen this? And theres sum wierd security system installed with a kill starter switch on the driver side, under the fuse box area.

Mine did that, my ignition switch is all messed up... I had to pull the lock timer and unplug the alarm until I got it fixed... Which I haven't done yet... But on mine it thinks the key is always in the ignition.
