question about fmu

question about fmu

i have the vortech fmu with 8:1 disc in it... but i am not sure if i put it in properly...
do you guys hear noise when u shake your fmu's???? cuz i shook my friends paxton and it made noise (it is almost identical to vortechs)

anyone have pics of how to put the discs into the fmu????
i put a disc and a ring in mine...

i put a disc and a ring in mine...

It's pretty simple. You take out the old disk and ring, and install the new ring with the notch down. The notch can be in any orientation as long as it is down. Then the disk into the ring, and finally the blue gasket and the cover. Don't overtighten the cap screws.

You shouldnt hear any noise. The disc and ring are in place, and the disc is kind of under presser with the spring from the bottom. So it shouldnt be making any noise.
