turbo

will the super cahrger kit work with the turbo kit at the same time cause it is on the other side and runs to the same piping

SC/Turbo has been done before. never really understood the concept though....but no real point IMO on most cars.

I think the idea is to use a fast spooling turbo to get boost early on in the rpm range, and then supplement top end with the supercharger when the turbo starts to run out of breath. Plus you get the instant response that the SC gives you when going from partial throttle to WOT.

You would have to have some kind of vane or other control in the intake piping to prevent the supercharger boost at high rpm from leaking back through the turbocharger, though. Sounds complicated.

With new VATN turbochargers coming out that give really fast spool up without sacrificing top end cfm capacity, though, doing things this way is obsolete.

Ive been thinking about this actually...

But putting a super fast spooling turbo means high backpressure at the top of the RPM range, not a good thing.
