the body shop will probably be able to pull that out for not too much money. then of course you'll have to have it painted, etc. oh and there are a lot of important things by that panel: fuel filler, sunroof drain (if you've got one), rear seatbelt anchors. they're probably all ok, but you should verify that somehow

That sucks. On my gold Max, some dumb lady hit my bumper from the side and tore the whole bumper cover off of mine. I almost throttled her! It cost her insurance about $1200 because they replaced the bumper cover, the bumper and had to repaint the back part because of the scratches on it.

These days, I don't think you can go to a body shop without at LEAST $1000 in your pocket. I sure hope the person that hit you had insurance, or if it was a hit-and-run, that you have good insurance.

The body shop will look it all over and they have a computer program that adds up everything they might have to replace. Most shops do a pretty good job of replacing everything around that might have been damaged (they want more money, and it's safer).

Did they leave you a present and then take off afterwards? That is gonna be over a grand most likely cuz paint and labor is crazy now, especially during the summer

forget about getting it "repaired" I dont think it would ever be right to pull it out and bondo it...I have seen some people do some great things with bondo though lol. I would have it replaced and that is going to cost a pretty penny. I did the exact quarter on mine and there is a lot involved in doing it. I would say min. 1500 probably more.

Got an estimate today

Today i went to some small shop that my pops knows and he said he'll do it for $300. Considering what you guys have estimated, this is a steal.. I know it won't be as good of a job as a high quality shop would do, but i get what i pay for. I'm not planning to keep this car much longer but can't stand the nasty dent. OH yeah i don't have good insurance so i'll be paying out of pocket and it was a hit-and-run situation.. I'm dropping it off tuesday i'll post pics of it finished when its done..

For that price they will be pulling the dent and bondoing. Some are really good at that and can make it perfect looking and since you are getting rid of it no sense in spending the money to have the quarter replaced especially if you have to come up with the money yourself.

Good luck with that.
