brembo brake advise? do they warp?

Hey guys I need some help, I was in the process of doing some serious brake work, and I have the option of buying brembo brakes.. now I was wondering if I should get brembo cross drilled rotors, part of a package deal.. but my question is can or should u ever resurface brembo zinc coated rotors? And will they ever warp?

I used a set of brembo blanks without cross dilling or slotting, and they warped pretty quick. This wasn't on a my Max though, this is on my Talon TSi

There's more meat between the vents on 'em, I guess to make x-drilling possibile. Despite that extra matierial, mine didn't last long even though I didn't touch 'em.

Maybe it's different for the max.

In terms of performance, the best things I've ever done were to get bigger rotors and calipers + SS lines. I went from 11" to 13" up front on my talon, and it made a world of difference, not just in performance, but also in regular driving. Brakes are smooth as silk and a lot more powerful. I used PowerSlots.

so when if u get those zinc coated rotors resurfaced, wouldn't the zinc coating be useless, considering they've been removed now?

the zinc coatings is for the purpose of protecting from rust, it'll be gone anyway on the first time you brake. Resurfacing can be done, no problem
