maxima won't start

SOmeone broke into my car, smashing the driver side window, and stealing my amp/kicker. The next day i cleaned the glass and the car started just fine. The following day the car wouldn't turn over. Thinking it is the battery I jumped it with my other auto. It started and I stored it away in my neighbor's garage. But this morning, hoping to bring the car in for glass work, it wouldn't turn over again nor did the jump start help. Actually it looks like the power is ok everyhwere . The AAA guy said the battery is putting out 12.5 V so that further confirms I have power. I checked the fuses just to be sure.

1. could this be the starter or solenoid or is it related somehow the the stock security alarm the nissan has? probably not the last, as I don't think the 88 gxe came wtih any sort of an ignition kill switch.

any suggestions? Thanks!
